Use of the herbal tea Tribulus terrestris
This extraordinary, small pilose medicinal plant originates from the sandy coasts of China and Japan, from which it spread to arid regions all around the world. Despite being a typical weed species, it is cultivated for the pharmaceutical industry as it can be used for a wide spectrum of purposes and has many positive effects on the human body. Dried and shredded stem/leaf of the puncture vine (Tribulus terrestris) plant.
Preparation and Suggested Use
Pour 0.25 litre of boiling water over ½ teaspoon (0.5g) of puncture vine per each 30 kg of bodyweight and let infuse for 15 minutes.
Divide the infusion into 2-3 daily doses and drink half an hour before the meal. Do not exceed recommended daily dose (max. 2g per day)! Do not use when suffering from anaemia.
Do not take during pregnancy and nursing. Keep out of the reach of children.
